Ruby Franke From 8 Passengers Finally Got Arrested For Child Abuse

Ruby Franke, the mother behind the 8 Passengers and one half of the Connextions Youtube channel, was arrested and charged with six counts of felony child abuse after two of her kids escaped from her Connextions partner Jodi Hildebrandt’s house and were found to be malnourished, dehydrated, and in bad condition by neighbors. Ruby Franke had a history of documenting herself abusing her children on YouTube, frequently treating her kids necessities such as food as a privilege over an actual need, and this arrest was a long time coming and utterly deserved.

Ruby Frances sisters, neighbors, and eldest daughter Shari Franke have spoken out about this and how they’ve been trying to get the cops and Utahs child and family services involved for years, but nothing happened until the kids escaped. Let's talk about this whole situation, how this proves that family channels and mommy vloggers should have people criticizing them, how calling this anything other than child abuse is probably what lead to it not being taken seriously three years ago, and watch my blood boil as I talk about the cops and child and family services just failing to do their job until an extreme happens. Because that part actually infuriates me to no end given that people have been calling them out as early as three years ago, and it took the extreme for these incompetent organizations to do anything.

This video talks about EVERYTHING that's been made public as of 9/10/11. I chose not to discuss the DailyMail article regarding Ruby's allegations during her hearing because coming forward with that information only when you're being charged with six counts of child abuse is insane.
