A Family Friendly Hike - Tonto National Forest and Jacob's Crosscut Trail

My family and I drove about 15 minutes to the boundary of the Tonto National Forest and turned onto First Water Rd., northeast of Apache Junction. There is parking right away on the left, and a trailhead on the right. The trails head southeast and connect with the Jacob's Crosscut Trail. We hiked for about an hour and made it around 1.5 miles. The kids enjoyed the hike, and this was our first whole family hike in awhile.
