Assessing the aortic valve using TEE (mid-esophageal long-axis view)
Transesophageal echo is a super powerful tool. If you're taking care of cardiac patients and want to differentiate yourself from everyone else, you NEED to learn TEE.
By the end of this video, you will have learned how to obtain the mid-esophageal long-axis view of the aortic valve using TEE, and use it to assess aortic valve anatomy and also aortic root dimensions and LVOT diameter.
