(UPDATE) JBL Xtreme + 18650 Batteries (DIY)

This video includes disassembly and the reassembly of the JBL Xtreme Bluetooth Speaker but you can skip to the actual explanation of the BMS for the battery @ 1:54.
This has more INFO on how to connect the 18650s to the board.
I did this before on my previous video but did not go into detail about the board and the 18650 were connected to it.

Useful for those that have problems with the speaker being able to be charged because of the battery being dead or just won't turn on but only when plugged in to a.c. oulet.

Note: You need the BMS from the original batteries so make sure you don't through them away. You can watch how to get that on my very first video on my Channel if you haven't seen it.

If you don't have a soldering iron its probably cheaper if you just purchase the jbl battery online but you know the soldering iron would be of great use to you again in the future then go for it. That way you can keep replacing the battery for your JBL Xtreme or upgrade them to better 18650s out there.
