Now that Trump has been exposed by Bob Woodward as having lied to the American people about the dangers of the Coronavirus, some people have asked, "What happens if Trump resigns and Pence pardons him?"

Some legal scholars seem to think pardons are untouchable, unchallengeable. Here is why the judiciary likely would rule that a corrupt pardon is unlawful, invalid and void.
