Trump Tax Case in Court AGAIN: Judge Neomi Rao, a McConnell judge, Shows Why Biden Must Add Judges

After serving for two years as a Trump administration official, Trump nominated and Mitch McConnell crammed through the confirmation process, Neomi Rao as a judge on the DC Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. Since becoming a judge in 2019, her opinions have been widely criticized and even "mocked" for their invariably pro-Trump leanings. But in today's court argument on the enforceability of Congress's subpoena for Trump's tax returns, Rao was downright demeaning and disrespectful to the House of Representatives, calling it "a co-equal HALF branch of government." Rao is a shining example of why Joe Biden should add additional judges to the federal circuit courts of appeal.
