2004-2006 Yamaha R1 Engine Removal - Tutorial

A basic step by step video on the process of removing the engine from a 2004, 2005, as welll as 2006 Yamaha YZF-R1 per the factory Yamaha service manual and can be used as a guide to get the engine removed from the bike.

Not all bikes are exactly the same but many of the practices in this how-to can be used for removing other engines from other makes and models of Japanese motorcycles. Again... I can't stress enough the point of having the service manual for your specific bike before attempting any work.
