During our workshops, each student will have their own workstation, pneumatic stapler and other tools, and will have expert help from tutor Antonia Marin who will work closely with you. She will show you all the skills, techniques and tricks of the trade needed to finish your chair to a professional standard. Topics that are covered depend on your chair, and may include using webbing and comfort core materials, measuring fabrics and cutting patterns, release cuts, back tacking, piping, buttons, cushion sewing and gimp braiding.
