South Korea - US Pilot Released
(30 Dec 1994) A U.S. Army helicopter pilot accused of spying by North Korea
crossed the heavily fortified border into South Korea on Friday
(30/12) after being released by Pyongyang.

release (of Hall) and we did not negotiate. We expressed our
regret about the incident...(we are) looking for ways to avoid
such incidents in the future.
