Polyrhythms, a Fellowship Opportunity, and a weakened upper body! 😩 | Joseph Conyers, Double Bass

If you watched my video a couple weeks ago about preparing a Nieslen excerpt, I mentioned that there was a funky pattern in the music. Well, I found the spot which leads into an explanation of the polyrhythm and how to make it easier to count. After that, I took part in a panel with some of the world’s leading opera singers. New York City based soprano, Laquita Mitchell, launched a new initiative with UIA Talent Agency. Laquita is a fantastic musician and person. If you don’t already know her, you should check out her website and Instagram page. I ended the day with a workout at the gym. My numbers are not back to where they used to be. It’s a struggle, but I’m getting there.
