Quadbrot - 4th Power Mandelbrot Fractal Zoom (8k 60fps)

I know the 4th power Mandelbrot has a cult following, and I haven't made one in a while, so I thought I'd better get back to it. I've spent some time trying to design an interesting colour scheme for this one. This is a standard 'linear' rendering of the 4th power Mandelbrot Set, no lighting effects were used. The stepping effect is created by a clever choice of colour.

The equation used for this fractal is "z=z^4+c". The repeated symmetry only takes 1/4 of the video for this fractal. So the centre drop starts from about 5:00 which is a really nice part of the video.
