Finally getting into the first fully acoustic instrument build on the channel. I started building this soprano ukulele with the idea of it being one of the fanciest and most intricate things I've ever built. And that has proven to be very difficult. In the first part of this build we'll focus on the building of just the top and back. In the next part of the series we'll be looking at making the bridge and bending the sides.

In this build I am using sitka spruce for the top and padauk for the back and sides.
