Today's stock market news:
AMZN stock
MacKenzie Scott has donated 2.7 billion dollars in the first quarter of this year.
The ex-wife of Jeff Bezos wants to donate half of the money she received after the divorce.
Last year her net worth likely increased to about 60 billion dollars.

Oil stocks
Traders say crude oil could return to 100 dollars per barrel at the end of this year.
Others say the OPEC will provide a price ceiling instead.
Analysts think we might see a supply shortage and still high demand.

Nasdaq
Jerome Powell will take the stage at 2.30 p.m. Eastern Time today.
There’s a lot of uncertainty about inflation, job growth and supply chain issues.
People don’t think the Federal Reserve will take any action though.

FTSE 100
And UK inflation was slightly higher than expected by the Bank of England.
The CPI rose to 2.1%, above the bank’s target of 2% and analysts’ expectations of 1.8%.
The bank isn’t expecting to raise interest rates soon.
