DP Ruto holds meeting with leaders from the coast over his 2022 plan

Deputy President William Ruto embarked on his planned countrywide tour with a series of meetings in Mombasa to popularise his economic empowerment plan. Under his new bottom-up economic model, the DP held long day discussion with political leaders, professionals, and businessmen drawn from the coastal counties Of Mombasa, Kwale, Kilifi, Lamu and Tana River. At the meeting coastal leaders, struck a deal on a framework of engagement on how to uplift the region economically and address the level of poverty in the region.
