Law professor: Kavanaugh would threaten the 'ability to make fundamental personal decisions'

Melissa Murray, a law professor at New York University, said she can attest to Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's kindness. But that's not what his confirmation hearing is about, she told the Senate Judiciary Committee. It's about "real people on the ground," she said, adding that Kavanaugh's confirmation to the Supreme Court would "threaten people's ability to make fundamental personal decisions, including whether to have an abortion."
