WATCH: Sen. Cory Booker says he's worried about Americans’ rights under a Kavanaugh court
Sen. Cory Booker urged Brett Kavanaugh on Tuesday to recuse himself from the hearing on his nomination to the Supreme Court. In his opening statement, Booker wondered whether Kavanaugh and the Supreme Court would protect the rights of workers, women and racial minorities, as well as the rights of Americans with disabilities and health conditions. He also asked again what the harm was in waiting for the Senate Judiciary Committee to review 42,000 pages of recently-released documents on Kavanaugh's record.
