Tugboat Tales 1: A Brief Overview of the Museum Tug OHIO

In the first segment of Tugboat Tales, we introduce you to the history of Museum Tug OHIO. From a City of Milwaukee fireboat, to her time serving as the tug LAURENCE C. TURNER and the tug OHIO—during its working life, our museum tug made thousands of tows contributing to the economic development of the Great Lakes region and North American continent.

The National Museum of the Great Lakes tells the awe-inspiring stories of our Great Lakes through 500 breathtaking photographs, 250 incredible artifacts, 45 interactive exhibits, a 617-foot iron ore freighter, and a historic tug. Our Museum Moment series showcases artifacts currently displayed within our museum.
