Jo Hambly: the roles of SCAPE in coastal archaeology and near Callanish

Earlier in the year we were privileged enough to be commissioned by CALANAIS STANDING STONES VISITOR CENTRE (Ionad-tadhail Tursachan Chalanais) to produce a series of short videos - The 'Calanais Conversations' for their website. https://www.calanais.org/

In this episode we are delighted to be talking with Joanna Hambly from the SCAPE trust, - Scottish Coastal Archaeology and the Problem of Erosion https://scapetrust.org/.
As an archaeologist Jo worked all round the world before coming back to the UK to work in commercial and curatorial archaeology. She joined SCAPE back in 2009 where she is involved with some important work regarding coastal archaeology, some of which involves the island of Lewis, so we thought we’d invite her on to tell us a bit more about it…
