When Ikshit first began showing symptoms of muscular dystrophy many years ago, his doctors tried to pinpoint the diagnosis. But Ikshit resisted, asking: “Why should I get something stamped on me if there’s no treatment?” Over the years, as he dedicated himself to his daily meditation practice with growing intensity, Ikshit wrestled with periods of stagnation – and lingering doubt. But as he prepared to attend his first Week Long Advanced Retreat with Dr Joe, he was ready to overcome that doubt. He was ready to overcome himself.
