Cheesy lasagna using the easiest 2 ingredients high protein vegan meat!
This is the second video of the 2 ingredients vegan meat. This cheesy lasagna is a real crowd pleaser and is a must at family gatherings and the fact that its vegan only increases the yumminess and health factors, everyone will love it, vegans and non-vegans!

INGREDIENTS FOR CHEESY LASAGNA USING 2 INGREDIENTS HIGH PROTEIN VEGAN MEAT:
- 500g of the homemade vegan meat (link to the video below)
- 2 1/2 cups homemade tomato sauce
- 1 TBSP tomato puree
- 1/2 cup mirepoix
- salt
- black pepper
-1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- lasagna sheets
- cheese
- vegan alfredo sauce or cashew cream
- parsley for garnish
❤️ If you'd like to make this lasagna even more nutritious and yummy, you can add one layer of cooked spinach and vegan ricotta, it's also super nice!
METHOD:
In a saute pan, add the vegetable oil, when hot, add the mirepoix and the salt and cook until golden brown, it'll take about 10 minutes on medium-low heat.
Add the garlic, saute for 40 seconds more, then add the tomato puree and saute for 1 minute.
add the two ingredients vegan meat, saute for 3 minutes more, than add the tomato sauce and the bay leaf and let it cook for 7 minutes.
assemble the lasagna by adding a thin layer of the meat sauce, then one layer of the lasagna sheets, one layer of the vegan cheese, one layer of the cashew cream and so on until the assembly is complete. bake in a 375F preheated oven for 40 minutes, remove from the oven and let the lasagna rest for about 15 minutes before serving.
