Riga was fantastic, I must say. I was impressed with the city and all it had to offer. I expected to find a city that was a bit on the edgy side, but instead found a charming town with a great vibe. I was in Riga over Christmas, and it was the perfect time to be there. Riga is actually the home to the first ever Christmas tree, and the Christmas markets in Riga are fantastic. I also found that the foodie scene in Riga was quite cool. I found lots of really good food in Riga, and the prices were beyond reasonable. Especially compared to other major European cities. I just have the one episode from Lativa, but there's lots more from the Christmas season, and Europe in general coming on the photography channel!
