CALL OF DUTY MODERN WARFARE 2 | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

Another year of course means another Call of Duty. Now Vanguard that came out last year was such a lousy product that I did not even cover it. However, I actually really liked Modern Warfare from 2019 and was looking forward to its sequel this year. We follow Captain Price yet again as he is accompanied by "new" members like Ghost and Soap. Teamed up as Taskforce 141 we head over to Latin America to deal with a sinister plan that involves the cartels.
Though the campaign had some highlights and cool missions I have to admit that I am slightly disappointed with the campaign overall. I am always a firm believer that Call of Duty's strength lies in its portrayal of big battles involving hundreds of units. That was the initial philosophy with the first and second Call of Duty installments. But more recently it has become popular to focus on only a squad of 3 to 4 units and this is no exception. 2019's Modern Warfare actually had a surprisingly large amount of levels that felt epic in scale and the same could be said for the original Modern Warfare trilogy. That's why it's a shame that this year's campaign yet again focuses mostly on just a small group of elite units rather than larger armies. But as I am Dutch myself it brought a smile to my face to see two levels in this campaign be represented in Amsterdam.
