Abs & Thighs Exercise | 2 in 1 Exercise for Abdomen & Legs | Effective at way to Lose Weight at Home

Combining exercises for your abs and thighs is a great way to work multiple muscle groups and increase the efficiency of your workout. Here's a 2-in-1 exercise that targets both your abdomen and legs effectively:

**Exercise: Squat with a Leg Raise**

1. **Starting Position:** Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, toes pointing slightly outward. Keep your back straight, shoulders relaxed, and core engaged.

2. **Performing the Squat:**
- Inhale and lower your body by bending your knees, pushing your hips back as if you're sitting in a chair. Keep your back straight and your knees aligned with your ankles. Your thighs should be parallel to the ground or lower if possible.
- Exhale as you push through your heels to return to the starting position. This is one squat repetition.

3. **Performing the Leg Raise:**
- After completing the squat, shift your weight to your right leg and lift your left leg straight out in front of you, keeping it parallel to the ground. Engage your core to help with balance.
- Lower your left leg back down to the ground. This completes one leg raise repetition.

4. **Repeat:**
- Alternate between squatting and lifting each leg in a controlled, fluid motion.
- Aim for 10-15 repetitions on each leg for a total of 20-30 repetitions in one set.

**Tips:**
- Focus on proper form to avoid injury.
- Keep your core engaged throughout the exercise.
- You can add dumbbells or a resistance band to increase the intensity.
- Start with 1-2 sets and gradually increase the number of sets as you become more comfortable with the exercise.

This exercise engages your thigh muscles during the squat and targets your abdominal muscles during the leg raise. It's a versatile and effective way to work on both areas. However, remember that exercise alone is just one part of a weight loss plan. A balanced diet and overall physical activity are crucial for achieving weight loss and fitness goals.
