Happy Birthday to The Actors Fund!
On June 8, 1882, after leaders of the theatrical community had worked together to start a special fund to help members of the community in times of need, The Actors Fund's Act of Incorporation was officially made law by the New York State Legislature. In celebration of our anniversary, here's the wonderful Brian D'Arcy James narrating a brief history of The Fund:
