Judith Light speaks about the work of The Actors Fund at the 2015 Gala
The Actors Fund’s annual Gala on Monday, May 11, 2015 at the New York Marriott Marquis raised over $900,000, as more than 450 guests from the theater, television, film, industry, media and finance communities gathered to honor Academy Award®-winning actor Morgan Freeman and Michael R. Bloomberg, founder of Bloomberg LP and former three-term Mayor of The City of New York. The duo each received the Medal of Honor, the highest award given from the 133-year old non-profit human services organization.
Two time Tony Award and Emmy Winner Judith Light was one of the guests who spoke about the work that The Actors Fund does for the more than 17,000 individuals who work in entertainment.
