Athlete to Anorexia to Athlete // My Anorexia Story // Anorexia Recovery
This is my Anorexia story…
Athlete…to Anorexic…to Athlete
I share my anorexia story. Athlete to Anorexia to Athlete. From being an elite athlete to developing severe anorexia and now, in my anorexia recovery, becoming an athlete again.
As part of my anorexia story, I show how my drive to become a professional athlete along, with my loneliness at school, led me to start to develop anorexia. You can see the hospital treatment that followed. I have had three inpatient admissions. Since my last admission, I started on the journey to anorexia recovery.
I have also become an athlete again – going from anorexia to athlete. In 2020 I started racing again and am building a strong body to accompany my strong mind.
I hope that in sharing my anorexia story, it will provide hope and inspiration to others that recovery is always possible. No matter how ill, how chronic, how hopeless you become…recovery is always possible.
I hope to keep you updated on how my anorexia recovery is going and if you want to keep watching, please subscribe to my channel.
