FORECAST: Strong Tornadoes, Large Hail, Widespread Severe Wind Gusts

A potentially dangerous severe weather outbreak is expected today across parts of the Midwest, with Illinois and Indiana at the center of the threat. Long-track supercells capable of producing strong tornadoes, destructive wind gusts over 75 mph, and hail larger than 2 inches are possible this afternoon and evening.

Meteorologists @taylorcoxwx and Martin Lowrimore break down the latest radar trends, storm timing, tornado potential, hail risk, and which cities have the greatest chance of seeing severe weather.
Tomorrow, storms are likely to shift east tomorrow, where the main threat will be strong wind gusts as this powerful storm system continues to move across the country. Severe weather takes a brief break on Friday, but returns by Saturday across the Plains.
