BMW 320i 328i 428i X1 X2 X3 28i drivetrain malfuntion diverter valve problem turbo noise N20 N26

N20 N26 B48 engines

the diverter valve is the one incharge to control the over boost pressure of the turbo when the engine does not need it, this valve will go bad over the time and will make a very loud noise coming from the turbo area. this problem can be easily fix by replacing the turbo diverter valve.
