Bigfoot 2020 Horse Sighting Info

What helped us get Multiple Sightings this year from Camping to trail riding with purpose.

This year was amazing, we had encounters from rock throws and howls to sightings. The same noisy camping and trail ride techniques attracted them again this year. From Mt Adams to Mt Hood activity could be found when we were in the right areas. We have had multiple encounters every summer over the last six years including this years sighting using our guides simple techniques. This WHAT WORKED 2020 guide will help you increase your outdoor camping skills and awareness of your surroundings while hunting this extremely elusive giant apex predator. It is well known that they are hyper aware of their environment and use it to their advantage. They like to hunt in groups and often create an ambush attack on their prey. After experiencing these behaviors first hand we have figured out several things that attract them to you while on a trail ride or back to your campground for an encounter.

Many famous Bigfoot Researchers have never had a Sighting and spent years hunting them occasionally finding a track or hearing a knock. Others were just being active outdoors and had a encounter or sighting and then like me became an enthusiast or researcher.

Not every trip to the forest will yield a encounter and we usually camp 2 weekends a month training our endurance horses on mountain trails from March - Sept the other weekends were racing them in the Mountains of Oregon and Washington. We found certain activity draws them in from a distance away and this year they came in close.

Encounters can be just scarce or random but you can increase your odds by knowing:
Where to Go and what to Bring
How to set up base camp that's attractive.
How to be the bait and draw them to you if they are within a few miles.
How to cover ground and broadcast great distances to attract them to you.
Having the encounter, keeping calm and having a game plan on what to do.

Before an encounter learn where to look for tracks, how to Cast, video tape, record sounds, document your encounter and more!

Please be Careful: No One can prepare you for what you will feel sighting a Bigfoot!

For most it is a terrifying experience and has ruined many peoples livelihoods and willingness to go back into the Forest. I personally was raised in a family of bow hunters and we hunted large game and predators and even with that level of experience the chattering sounds of the group of bigfoot and the sight of the 9ft tall bigfoot last spring was overwhelming. It took a while to want to go back on longer rides in our forests and now I carry and wear a GoPro... we are always searching for predators of any kind while riding.

Brief sightings:
On June 29th 4 of the 5 Sightings were very brief lasting 4-5 seconds as we passed by them with our horse seeing them and us looking over while on horseback. They were standing mostly still and not very well hidden (only partially) behind trees looking over or around them at us as we passed by. 20 minutes before that they had ran across the hillside below me to get ahead of us chattering the entire time. (Link to that sighting below).

That same video has the longer sighting on it too. We had a 10 minute twilight sighting of a 9ft Bigfoot slowly walking right at us and our horse, staring at us while rocking side to side. then followed us back to camp later making woops and more.

July 17th 2020 near Lolo Pass: We had a daylight sighting that lasted several minutes, the Bigfoot stayed behind a fallen tree barely moving watching as we passed by. It probably knew we would likely then turn around minutes later at the raging creek like most people do. It watched us again as we passed back by seeing it staring from behind the same tree. July 18th 2020 Next day ride with 2nd Sighting and rocks thrown near Lolo Pass:

Over the last 5 years we have ridden our horses hundreds of miles each year and have had one or two Bigfoot encounters each year. Some in or near camp and others on nearby trails.
After years of hunting and fishing all over Oregon and from the increasing encounters since we started I have a new awareness of You don't Hunt them they Hunt you!
