Turtle stampede across Natchez Trace shows need for caution

Spring is here and the amphibians and reptiles are moving. Turtles are particularly vulnerable to getting hit by cars as they hurry across the road. The best way to spot one is to look for dark spots on the road ahead. Help them continue on in the direction they were going. Be careful if you stop in the road to help one get across, and put on your hazard lights!
