Stick Float Fishing for Grayling on the River Wharfe

This week see's me heading North onto a stretch of the River Wharfe I've wanted to fish for over 30 years, stick float fishing for grayling.

With little knowledge of the venue other than that the grayling fishing can be prolific at this time of year, I decide to go with a one road stick float setup and walk the entire pool bridge top length looking for swims that would likely hold the lady of the stream.

Roving and trotting for grayling has to be one of the nicest ways to spend a day on the bank and unwind from the working week.
