Apollo's family in the evening light

An update for you all on some of the horses at the ranch, with this being a remarkable sight to behold, as Apollo's family is all together in golden hour sunlight. All are curious of what I'm up to, with Hermes being the most interested in coming over to say "Hello", but most likely curious on whether I have some hay for him. Aslan remains by Apollo and Hermes, while Spartan makes an appearance off to their right.

There colors look so beautiful in the sunlight, at this hour, and most important: It's great to see Apollo so calm and content with his surroundings. Loading Apollo was one of the most stressful moments for us, as his sheer force and power was enough to bend several panels, but putting him with his friend (Aslan) was the best thing we could've done to ensure a comfortable life for him.

The mental well-being of any horse always comes first, and any steps we can take to ease the transition for horses matters most to us, especially this 22-year-old band stallion. To see him go from being so panicked to so peaceful is another one of our progress stories that we love to see.
