SHOULD MUSICIANS TALK ABOUT POLITICS?

Should musicians talk about politics in their lyrics, or on social media? I do my best to answer that question by looking at:
* Short history of music and politics/activism
* Rage Against The Machine's "People Of The Sun", Earth Crisis, NWA's "F*** The Police", and other artists who brought awareness to important issues
* Why people like Dave Mustaine of Megadeth, Five Finger Death Punch's "Living The Dream" and Tommy Lee just make things worse (and Alex Skolnick's rap song "Trump Sucks")
* Do musicians have an obligation to "use their platform"?
