Orphaned Dolphin Has a New Home
An orphaned dolphin has a brand new home. Ranger is a 2-year-old dolphin calf who was rescued from the waters around Goose Island State Park in Texas. Marine experts say he was found “dehydrated” with a “respiratory infection” near his dead mother, before he was transported to the Texas State Aquarium Wildlife Rescue Center. The Dolphin Research Center in the Florida Keys was chosen to be Ranger’s home.
