Millions of Crabs Invade Cuba
The number of land crabs in Matanzas, Cuba, has dramatically increased because the pandemic has reduced traffic in the region. Since people were hunkered down at home, crabs have had their run of the place and have significantly increased in size and numbers. Now that it’s spring, millions of the critters are migrating from the forest, crossing the road, and are headed down to the bay to spawn in the sea — at least, that’s if they can make it.
