Abandoned Film Directors Mansion | Destination Adventure

This was honestly a very sad one for me to see. I have always strongly disliked vandalism and needless destruction, but most of the time it isnt too much of a loss because the property is already too destroyed to save before the vandals get to it. That is not the case for this mansion. The roof is still solid and the house was ready for new owners and the vandals completely destroyed the inside. There is signage warning of asbestos, so that may be the reason it was abandoned, but with the property value being so high, I personally believe that the house would have been demolished and a new one built. This property and house is currently for sale, with an asking price of $14.5 million. It makes me sad to watch this historic place fall to disrepair, but I do hope that the property will see proud owners return.
