How to Turn a TikTok Sound Into a Ringtone

Found a video on TikTok with an awesome audio you’d like to use as a ringtone? Watch this video to learn how to turn a sound from TikTok into a ringtone on iPhone.

To do this, there are a few apps you’re going to need. The first of course is the TikTok app. The two apps you’ll need to convert the audio into a ringtone are RingtoneMaker and GarageBand. Both can be downloaded for free from the App Store. We’ll put links to these apps in the description box below.

Once you have the apps you need installed, open TikTok and find the video with the sound you want to make into a ringtone. Tap the Share icon on the right. In the menu that pops up, tap Save Video. The video will then be downloaded to your device’s camera roll. Next, open the RingtoneMaker app. Tap the plus sign in the top right corner. Then select Import from Videos. Select the TikTok you just downloaded. Then tap Done in the bottom right corner. Tap the I icon on the right. Now tap Make Ringtone. In the menu that appears, select GarageBand. Hold down the file you just imported. In the pop-up menu, select Share. Now tap Ringtone. If you like, you can rename the ringtone so you can easily identify it later. Tap Export in the top right corner when you’re done. After that, open your Settings. Select Sounds & Haptics. Now, choose what you want to use that sound for: your ringtone, text tone, voicemail notification, mail, etc. The new ringtone you just created should appear at the top of the list of sound options. Tap it to select it and hear a preview of the sound.
