Hierarchical Outline numbering for Microsoft Word Documents
Need help with word numbering format 1.1 1.2 1.3 ? Learn how to apply hierarchical outline numbering for Microsoft Word Documents in a way that perfects the formatting of technical documentation and proposals. Also a life saver for thesis/school papers! Headings will have the format 1 Title, 1.1 Subtitle, 1.1.1 Next Level Subtitle, etc. and your headings will auto number the right way. I also discuss why you would use this format, and in what situations you would NOT use this format. At the end, I added some bonus content on how to leverage the outline numbered headings to make a table of contents, and how to handle headings for Appendix sections.
