New Deere. TYM, LS, Massey, Kubota, Kioti, Mahindra and Branson Tractors for 2020

The National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky is where manufacturers generally unveil their new product offering for the coming selling season. The 2020 show brought a veritable plethora of new models which I got to observe and sit on.

John Deere unveiled two new mid sized tractors, bridging the gap between compact and utility models. The Deere 4M series puts a lot of power in a small package and is targeted at poultry and livestock producers.

TYM has a 22 hp compact, the T224, with modern styling, a Yanmar engine, and a forward opening hood. It had the capability to have a loader, belly mower and backhoe all mounted simultaneously.

LS has unveiled the MT225S a high feature compact with a drive-over mower deck. They've also unveiled the new MT3 cab tractor series with more air vents than any other tractor and an anti-stall feature that matches engine speed to hydrostatic load.

Massey Ferguson has upgraded the styling on both the 1700E and 2700E series' by tapering the hoods which also provides maximum visibility. The 2700E series now features balls that fit both category I and II in the lower link arms.

Kubota unveiled the LX series, their smallest offerings with air conditioned and heated cabs, there's also a new model in the series with minimal features for the cost conscious buyer. They also introduced the B2401, a sub compact with manual gear drive transmissions for the most limited budgets.

Kioti upgraded their smallest compact, the CX2510 with twin hydro pedals, a deluxe seat with tilt wheel, and extendable lower link arms. They've put a skid loader quick attach on the new CS2220 and CS2520 sub compact models.

Mahindra has a 2660 tractor at 60 hp available with cab or no cab and with shuttle shift or a hydrostat, making it one of the larger hydro-powered tractors. The narrow stance allows it to fit in tight places.

Finally, Branson tractor unveiled two new models, a 2515 and a 2610. The 2515, while under 25 hp, weighs 4000 lbs and has a front end loader lift capacity to full height of over 2100 lbs to full height. They promise a very economical price on the little monster.
