The Uniforms of the Foot Guards

CORRECTIONS: -Army musicians are not trained in the capacity I mention in this video, but are full time musicians. I seem to have had outdated information on this front.
-I reference at 06:55 a 'swagger cane,' but this man is actually carrying a Pace Stick which is folded. It looks much the same, but they are very different in purpose!
-The caps of the Pipes and Drums of the Scots Guards are called Feather Bonnets, and are not a type of bearskin at all
-The headgear of the Irish Drums and Pipes is called a Caubeen.

The Foot Guards of the Household Division are among the most identifiable and prestigious soldiers in the entire world. Yet often very little details are known about these uniforms beyond the most simple details. In this video, I go into detail on some of the most iconic features of these uniforms, and the different ways in which you might identify members of the five different regiments of Foot Guards: The Grenadiers, the Coldstream, the Scots, the Irish, and the Welsh.
