4-week construction time-lapse: Ⓗ Weeks 1 thru 4: Construction excavation begins in earnest

Kicking off the Hospital Construction channel with the first Ⓗ-series construction time-lapse. Although the demolition and the construction overlap in reality, I consider the first week of this time-lapse to be the first week of construction, since the last of the demolition company's equipment leaves on Monday morning.

Not a huge amount to see in this first time-lapse. You can see them driving the I-beams (called "soldier beams", I believe) into the ground for the retaining walls so that they can start excavating deeper. Interestingly, they are not demolishing the old foundation walls, they are building the retaining walls right in front of them.

Timelapse at 1800x, compresses the 4-week period from June 30 - July 25, 2014 into 13 minutes. (Nighttimes and weekends are omitted.) Recorded at one frame per minute, played back at 30 frames per second.
