Make a Windows bootable USB in Linux | 2020 | Bios settings | Wimsplit | From download ISO to test

In this video I show you how to make a bootable USB Stick with Windows in Linux (Ubuntu). The problem with the latest Windows ISO is that the file /sources/install.wim is bigger than the maximum size of the FAT32 file system. I use a small program to split the file so it can be put on the boot USB Flash drive.

Used commands in terminal for copy/paste:

sudo apt install wimtools
wimsplit install.wim install.swm 1000

Note that when entering the Microsoft website for the ISO file with a Linux operating system, you can download the ISO directly instead of using the Media Creation Tool

And of course a test of the newly created bootable USB.
