What did the first firearm look like? It’s quite difficult to say for certain what the first true gun actually was— but we know where and (roughly) when it was invented. In this video, we travel to medieval China to give us an idea of what the earliest firearms were like and how they were used. From flamethrowing spears to guns that spat poison flames, we look at a number of early firearms and how they (very slowly) changed the face of war.
