Hurricane Dorian wind and rain reach Charleston

Hurricane Dorian, back to a Category 3 storm, raked the Southeast U.S. seaboard late Wednesday, threatening to inundate coasts from Georgia to Virginia with a dangerous storm surge. Strong wind and heavy rain reached Charleston, South Carolina. (Sept. 5)
