Susan Osgood: The Artist as Traveler, hosted by RISD Alumni Club of Vermont

Growing up in rural New Hampshire, Susan Osgood 78 PT developed a deep love of the natural world and a great desire to travel that only continued after her studies at RISD. In this virtual presentation, Susan discusses the paintings and monotype prints included in her recent book: "A Ghost of Water" and her work as an artist for the University of Chicago’s current archaeological project in Luxor, Egypt, where she spends winters drawing ancient tombs and temples. Susan is a recipient of the Pollock-Krasner Foundation grant. Her work is exhibited and collected internationally and shown regionally at Mitchell Giddings Fine Arts in Brattleboro, VT.

The RISD Alumni Club of Vermont hosted this virtual presentation by Brattleboro-based artist Susan Osgood 78 PT on Thursday, November 4, 2021.
