Strasburg Railroad #89 & #475: Steaming Into Paradise
This Time on Tristan Rail Productions, we Show you 2 Steam Locomotives on the Strasburg Railroad. They are Canadian National 89 & Norfolk & Western 475, and they Steam along the 4 1/2 Mile long Line on the Strasburg. They Chug and Speed along, having Wonderful Stack talk in the Amish Country.
So here we See 89 and 475 at Cherry Hill, and at Southside Chugging up the line. As we Chase 89, at Carpenters, and At the Station. In December for Christmas Time, Steam Trains are a Perfect way to Celebrate the Season!

89 was doing an Amazing Steam Blowoff, at Cherry Hill and 475 is coming, back and Forth.
This is an Amazing opportunity to see 2 steamers in Operation it was such Fun!
CN 89- A 2-6-0 Mogal built in 1910, by the Canadian Locomotive Company, and was used in the Grand Trunk Railroad, and was numbered 1009, then in the 1920s she was sold to the Canadian National Railroad. She was then numbered 911. Then Finally numbered 89. Then she was sold to the Green Mountain Railroad in 1960s for Tourist Operations. After that 89 was Finally sold to the Strasburg in 1972 to Operate in 1973, and 89 has Operated there ever Since.
N&W 475- A 4-8-0 "M" Built in 1906, by Baldwin for Norfolk and Western RR, and Operated pulling Freight And Coal. As the later 1950s rolled in 475 retired and was Used pulling Passenger Trains. It was soon sold to a Scrap yard, but was saved and was Put on Display for many Years, and was put on Display at the Boone and Scenic Valley Railroad. Until in 1991, when Strasburg Railroad finally Purchased 475, and Rebuiot her to Operate it, in 1993. Ever since then 475 has pulled trains at Strasburg. 475 is the Oldest Steamer at Strasburg.
