Four dead amid riots at Capitol Hill
Four people are reported to have died amid the riots at the US Capitol on Wednesday (local time) including a woman who was shot and killed on Capitol grounds.
The remaining three reportedly died in medical emergencies.
The violent scenes have seen Wednesday January 6 dubbed America’s “darkest day” in recent history by many lawmakers.
Members of Congress have reconvened to continue their confirmation of Joe Biden's election win simply hours after pro-Trump rioters stormed the US Capitol.
