The 2021 Jaguar XF is a fabulous sports sedan to look at and to drive – but it is a slow seller in Australia compared to key rivals like the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, BMW 5 Series and the Audi A6. Why is that? Well, Jaguar have recently trimmed the fat from the XF range down to just a single variant: the XF P300 AWD, a two-litre turbo four. Is that enough power and refinement? Let’s find out.

Of course, the biggest rival to the Jaguar XF is this British luxury brand’s own Jaguar F-Pace SUV, which we reviewed recently.
