{4K} [FULL FLIGHT] Phoenix (PHX) - San Francisco (SFO) — Southwest Airlines — Boeing 737 MAX 8

→ Join me as we make a second attempt at flying an amazing first-class route — by flying Southwest Airlines to get there. This time around, I could fly out of Phoenix, directly to San Francisco, instead of Oakland, which certainly helped. Did this second attempt go as planned? You'll have to wait until next Sunday to find out. *wink*

→ We begin this flight aboard a nearly-new Boeing 737 MAX 8 at gate D7 and push back. This departure was scheduled right at the beginning of Phoenix's mid-morning rush, so our skilled pilots tried to get us off the ground before that rush — and we did! As you can see during the takeoff roll, the line was already forming with over 20 planes in the queue! We climb off runway 7L to the east, then turn 180 degrees to the west and begin our trek up to San Francisco. Just over 90 minutes later, we made contact with the ground at SFO, taxi to the gate, and shut down the engines. I'm just going to give you a little hint as to what was to come — before the wheels of this flight even touched down, my connecting flight on United was already delayed by 30 minutes. Deja vu, much?
