How to make traditional Kuih + special guest invited

We tried making putu kua, a traditional dessert here in Malaysia that does't need oven as it's placed under the hot sun to dry and uses wooden moulds to shape the cakes, the ingredients used are very simple - rice flour, icing sugar and natural food colouring (pandan leaves, turmeric... depending of the colour desired).
All of this happened at Terradala museum cafe in Kuala Terengganu where we had a fun morning making the cakes and where we finally met Mat Dan.
